Dark Circles Around Eyes. Prescribed Ban A Tan, Sunban Forte Cream, Aha Glow Face Wash. Will This Help? Should I Change My Lifestyle?

I am having dark circles around the eyes for long time, almost 5 years. Last month, I visited a dermatologist and he prescribed me BAN A TAN cream to be used in the night, Sunban Forte Cream in the morning and AHA GLOW face wash to be used before using the creams. Could you please let me know that the treatment will give me improvement as since two weeks there is no much improvement. Moreover, should I make some changes in my lifestyle? Please let me have your opinion to solve this issue.

hi,
thank you for your query.

the periorbital skin(skin around eyes) is very thin and hence any small imbalance also causes decreased blood supply and discoloration

most common causes are-
1. stress is the most common cause
2.anemia - The lack of nutrients in the diet, or the lack of a balanced diet, can contribute to the discoloration of the area under the eyes.
3.Any medications that cause blood vessels to dilate can cause circles under the eyes to darken.
4.fatigue due to irregular sleep cycles also causes dark circles

i'd suggest these simple steps to treat them..you can follow these see results soon-
1.eat a balanced diet and regularly
2.take adequate fluids (min. 2ltrs per day) to improve circulation
3.follow regular sleep cycle
4.home remedies include using cucumber slices, potato skins on the eyes.

hence continue with your creams and also follow these tips.
you should definitely see a change in a month or so if you follow these steps.
thank you,
and you can contact me for further queries

hi,
thank you for using health care magic
dark circles are very common problem worldwide..there can be many cause of dark circles.. most common is less sleep..take at least 6 to 8 hours sleep at night .. drink more water.. have you done your hemoglbin level? if yous hemoglobin is low all these medication you are using will be useless ..
stress is also important reason for dark circles.. some times it can be herediatry ,does it runs in your family ? then its difficult to cure it completely..
drugs priscribed by your consultant are adequate .. you can also go for chemical peeling around eyelid .. its little expensive but effective..
principle of chemical peeling is they apply specefic chemical which helps in fresh growth of skin and removing old.. new fresh skin is healthy and glowing
hope this helped you.. take care
