Hi, genetic based periorbital hypermelanosis is resistant to treatment. Still, the color may be reduced by using kojic acid and vitamin C containing cream for long time. And take Vitamin C, glutathion, and nicotinic acid orally for few months. Avoid stress. Have nutritious food. Take proper sleep. Do exercise and meditation. Rule out thyroid dysfunction, anaemia and other systemic diseases. Never use hydroquinone containing cream ,as it causes irritation, dotted permenant depigmentation. If there is no response , accept it... Dr.Ilyas Patel MD,DVD
