Dark Knees, Elbows, Neck And Back With Dirt And Oil Deposits. No Help From Home Remedies. Suggest To Clean Up The Grime

Hi,
I am a 21 year old female. Due to the lack of care and negligence to my skin as a child I now have very dark knees, elbows, neck, and back. The complexion in those areas are much darker. Especially my back it has grime, dirt, and oil that when I shower in very hot water it loosens up and I can scrape it off with a finger nail. Gross! I feel helpless. I have tried everything from homemade remedies like lemon mixed with sugar and olive oil to using lava soap and scrubbing really hard but nothing seems to work. Please is there anything I can do that will clean up all the grime???

Seems like you may be suffering from either of the following conditions-
1) Acanthosis Nigricans
Rx-weight reduction along with steriod/salicylic acid/retinoid (tretinoin) containing preparations may be beneficial.

2)Icthyosis
Rx-Oral XXXX20-30mg per day for 20days once daily at night..but dont take this medicine if you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy, because it is teratogenic.
