Delayed Light Periods With Orange Bleeding, Cramps, Lethargy, Nausea. Pregnancy Test Negative. Concerning?
Hi! I wanted to ask. My period was 6 days late this month. Up to about two days before I actually bled a bit I had really bad cramps, nausea, fatigue, was very snappy and a light brown discharge. I took a test shortly after my missed period and it came back negative, but when I did start bleeding it was VERY light the first day and a orange-ish color. I did not have to really wear anything but a panty liner most of the day. The second and third day were a bit heavier, but it was still not up to par with what I normally have during a period, should I be concerned and look to a dr? I am still quite lethargic even after it all but most of the cramps and nausea have gone away
It may be safer for you to look towards a doctor for help.Proper physical examination is necessary before arriving at any conclusive diagnosis. The cramps, fatigue, nausea are part of the symptom complex in pregnancy. It is possible in some instances that pregnancy test may be negative in the early stages.Secondly, you say that you have got periods that are lighter in intensity to usual ones. That also can occur in pregnancy especially if it is outside the uterus. In your case it is an important differential diagnosis(what is called ectopic pregnancy).Repeat pregnancy test at a interval of one week and USG abdomen may be necessary, in addition to doctor consultation to rule out abnormalities.
