Delayed Period. Taken Mtprost. Will It Have Side Effects?
Hai Doctor ,
my name is kajal every month my period date is near about 19 or 17 or 18 some time my period was come to 2,3 days Earlier & some time 2,3 days after but in this month my period not come till now .& one thing more that i want to tell you that i also taken mtprost 2 time in different different month one time i taken in Nov 2012 & 2nd time March2013 so plz give me the suggestion cant i take MTPROST again .
Dear doctor if i will take a MTPROST again then any side effect on my body plz give me the answer asap .

Please, mtprost is used for abortion and not to provoke menses. Were you pregnant? not too sure about this. It is not rare nor abnormal to have ladies whose periods delay by a few days or show up earlier.
Don't take any more mtprost. I will suggest that you get evaluated and treated for the possible cause of any menstrual irregularities. Please, see your OBGYN.

MTPROST is abortion pill. Without confirmation of pregnancy, it should not be taken or advisable. Otherwise, it may give some adverse effect like irregular excessive vaginal bleeding, abdominal pain, fainting, headache etc.
It should be taken under supervision of doctor in case of positive pregnancy test and you want to abort it. Here, you need to undergo one home pregnancy test. According to report, you must consult with gynecologist if you do not get your period.
You can use regular or emergency contraceptive pill to prevent unwanted pregnancy. Kindly consult with your doctor.
Practice safe sex in future. Good luck.
