Delayed Periods. History Of Taking I Pill, And Painkillers For Blood Clot In The Leg Due To Accident. Pregnancy Test Negative. Reason?
hi.i took an ipill on 8th day of my cycle (i had periods for 4 days and then 4 days after) within 24 hours. I took the pill as i freaked out ,my bf told me nothing serious had happened. We just rubbed against each other with clothes on.But i took it because i was just too afraid. I met with a minor accident 4 days later, i got hit in my leg and though there was no fracture there was a huge blood clot and my entire leg was swollen with it. i took pain killers (combiflam , pan-d)the entire week to subside the pain. though my leg is now fine but i havent got periods yet. It has been now 12 days overdue from actual date (my periods is of 28 days cycle). I am sure im not pregnant ,i also took a pregnancy test after i missed my period and 2 days ago.but it was negative.I am extremely scared now. Will my periods be normal again ? When can i expect them?
Hi! Thanks for calling on HCM. Your periods are delayed and they hopefully should come within a week. Avoid any further pills without a suggestion from a Gynaecologist. Your periods will be normal. Thanks
