Delayed Periods. On The Lemon Detox Diet. Does It Cause Delayed Menstruation?

hi, i had my period last month and the following month..i have not had sex since august..and it ws protected, i know im not pregnant. However, last month i went on the lemon detox diet for 14 days,and my period should have coe on or around 28th of nov but i still have not seen it. Do u think the diet is delayingmy period?

Lemon detox diet is not only flushing out the toxins from body, but it also flushes out electrolytes which are necessary for your body.
At the same time body is undergoing starvation though for small period of 14 days. Any starvation or extra weight gain over short period of time is likely to cause menstrual disturbances. Disturbances could be frequent menstruation or delayed periods.
