Delayed Periods. Pregnancy Or Due To Altitude Change?

Hi, I'm a 19 year old college student. I'm currently sexually active and have sadly been practicing the "pull out" method for lack of other supplies. I had sex twice before ovulation but a condom was used. I got to Colorado yesterday which is an elevation change being from Oklahoma. I should have gotten my period two days ago (25th). I was wondering if the altitude change might be the cause of my late period or what might be happening? Thank you.

Hello and welcome to HCM,

The normal menstrual cycle varies from as short as 20 days to as long as 35 days.
A delay of two days can be present in a normal menstrual cycle.
However, you are sexually active, there is a possibility of getting pregnancy.
Barrier method is effective in preventing pregnancy but damage or rupture of the barrier contraceptive can cause accidental pregnancy.
'Pulling out' method also has a chance of failure.
So, pregnancy test should be done regularly especially when you miss periods.
Pregnancy test becomes positive 5-6 days after conception. It becomes positive at the time when the periods are expected.
