Delayed Periods After Taking Thyronorm For Increased TSH

Hello doctor! My gynochologist asked me to have a TSH test which showed 2.28. She has prescribed Thyronorm25mg to me. Now my periods are delayed. I am confused as we are planning for a child and delayed periods are delaying the plan. i am not sure how to go about this.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. You need to disclose your previous blood report of TSH for me to understand your problem, as the TSH level of 2.28 is within normal range.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Hasmukh Kumar Jain
