hi in last 3 or 4 months i noticed that my periods is irregular. this month it was supposed to start on 17 but it is not yet come. and i am feeling that my weight is also incresing. i told about this thing to my friend soo she told that u are having PCOS problem. so what i have to test. i have to undergo which test. can u please suggest me.

Irregularity in menstrual cycles can occur due to many causes.
And poly cystic ovary disease is one of them.
To diagnose that, you consult gynecologist once, get examined and go for ultrasound.
Ultrasound can detect the presence of poly cystic ovaries.
Along with that to rule out other factors, with your doctor's advice you can undergo blood tests like hemoglobin estimation, insulin levels, hormonal profile, prolactin levels and thyroid profile.
With this workup the possible cause for your problem can be identified and treated.
If you are having excessive weight, try to decrease weight.
And try to avoid stress and strain in workplace.
These can help as additive factors in treating the condition.
