Dent In The Skull, Compression In Ribs After A Bang, MRI Normal. Chances Of Complications In Future?

in 2007 i was going though anti phscy drug withdrawl i run into a door in a hospital and have a big dent in my skull other than a mri they did nothing with me, told me nothing, ok my ribs compressed a 1/2 inch from the impact, could this dent mess me, its about 1.2 inch deep i just shaved my head for the first time an found it

The dent that you mention must be a linear skull fracture. Simple linear skull fractures usually heal on their own. Skull fractures are usually managed conservatively in neurologically intact patients. Only certain types of depressed skull fractures and fractures in persons with neurological deficit , with underlying soft tissue injury or hematoma are the ones that require surgical intervention.
As in your case the MRI was done and showed a normal report so the probability of underlying head injury is ruled out. So you do not have to worry.
In case you have your doubts regarding the dent then just get a X-Ray skull ( AP and lateral view ) done.
