Hello, You seem to have developed diabetic neuropathy due to prolonged uncontrolled diabetes.Treatment for you is to control your blood sugar levels meticulously by taking proper doses of anti diabetic drugs and for tjis you must talk to your treating doctor. You must also do some regular aerobic exercises for 30 minutes a day,as you seem to be a sedentary person. As far as numbness is concerned,it could be because of associated VIT B12 deficiency along with VIT D deficiency. Take 5 to 7 injections of VIT B 12 and take VIT D orally in dose of 60000 units every week for 8 weeks. Your symptoms shall improve with this. In case symptoms don't improve, you can ask your doctor to prescribe medicines like DULOXETINE and PREGABLIN,which can take care of your numbness. The most important part of treatment, however is keeping our blood sugar levels normal. Thanks
