Diabetic, Developed Welts On Fore Head. Taking Metformin. Can Tiredness Be A Side Effect?
I am 66 years old- male about 280 lbs... fairly healthy- have diabities. I have developed dime size welts first in my hair and now on my forehead. They do not itch but are sensitive to touch. There are approximately 12 to 15. about 10 days ago the Dr. added metformin to my daily medicine. I have also been excessively tired. Could this be an reation to medication. One of the welts has blistered and is ozing a small amount of liquid which just started today.
Hi, it appears to be cellulitis, and your diabetis is not under controle. You should be under controle, and should get the blood sugar tested regularly every alternative days, till it is controlled. You should controle the diet and should avoid sugar and fruits, and sweets. Thank you.
