Hi I have a history of PVCs diagnosed via an event monitor in 2009. At the time, I also had an echo done, which was normal, along with several ekg s, all of which have been normal. I have a hard time accepting this for some reason - I still have PVCs, although they are not as frequent as they were then and at times also have some chest tightness, along with some jaw/ throat pain. I don t get shortness of breath , but I do botice an increasein my heart rate after moving around or after activity (not abnormally high that I can tell). I have also noticed that my fingernails can be purple at the base at times. I also have acid reflux and am currently on another round of omeprazole for it. I am a 27 year old female, slightly overweight (about 20lbs), with great blood pressure (102/68 last reading) and don t have any immediate family members with early heart disease - or heart disease at all. I don t smoke and only very rarely drink. I am fairly sedentary now, mainly because of my concern that something is wrong with my heart. Any information or advice you can give me would be so appreciated. Thank you.
