Diagnosed As Angular Cheilitis By Pharmacist And Prescribed Canestan Cream, T-Gel. Having Bad Skin Texture, Wrinkles Around Eyes. Reason?

Hi,

I'm a 28 year old male.

I was told I had Angular Cheilitis 5 days ago by pharmacist, he recommended using Canestan cream and also to try T-Gel anti dandruff shampoo on the affected area.

For the last three days I have had very bad skin quality, which feels like it's burning (ie: like sunburn) and swelling around my eyes (which subsides as the day goes on) with very obvious wrinkles around my eyes (I'm 28 so I don't have them normally!

The skin has a bad texture, like an orange, it feels course to the touch (lumpy, but not dry except around my lower lip).

seems you have developed dermatitis (contact or irritant) to the products you are using.

Use a gentle cleanser like cetaphil and avoid soaps.
use a moisturizer like cetaphil mixed with moderately potent steroid like fluticate and apply twice daily on the affected areas.
For angular cheilitis take B-complex vitamin supplement fortified with zinc once daily.
Can continue with canesten-- S over angular cheilittis
