Diagnosed Bronchiolitis. Was On Nebulization, Duolin. Why Is She Constipated?
Hi, my 5 and half months old baby girl was diagnosed with bronchiolitis and was put on nebulization for the last 2 weeks. Her cold and cough is more or less gone but the doctor says she has mild chest congestion. She is still on duolin nebulization thrice a day. Since yesterday she is making sounds as if she is constipated and has not passed stool . Though she was feeding well her urine output has been low. Since early morning she has been vomiting. She has vomited thrice since 4 a.m.

as you have told that your baby had brochiolitis . that was treated by dolin nebulzation
duolin has two thing solbutamol and iprtropium bromide (anticholinergic ). ipratrpium bromide some time can lead decrease frequency of urine rarely constipation due to anticholinergic effect.
just stop nebulization with duolin , nebulize with solbutamol . .
this vomiting may be secondary to constipation or cough
