Diagnosed Migraine Syndrome And Hypertension. Prescribed Pur Bloka, Fedaloc, Toplep. Numbness, Tingling In Face, Short Heat Waves. Normal?

Hi.
I have been diagnosed with migraine syndrome and hypertension. It all got diagnosed because I felt tingling/numbness in my face and went to emergemcy - I had MRI's CT Scan and a lumber punch. I have been prescribed pur bloka 40mg, Fedaloc SR 30mg and Toplep 50mg. I take the pur bloka and toplep at night because they were prescribed at a dfferent time to fedaloc. I have still felt the numb tinglie on my face three times since last Sun. And since I have taken pur bloka and toplep I get like a wave of heat that goes through my body for a short while about an hour after. Is it normal and okay? Will I get used to it? Do I need to go back to the doctor?

Neurologist 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
It is unfortunate that your symptoms are persisting despite medical treatment.
Also, your symptoms are not typical of migraine. It is very unusual to have numbness and tingling in face, in cases of migraine.
So, we need to look for alternative causes such as brain ischemia (lack of blood supply to the brain).
It may be a good idea to go back to your doctor and discuss about this.
Please get back if you require any additional information.

Best wishes,
