Diagnosed With HPV And Vulva Papillae, Painful Urination And Sex With Itching Sensation. What Can Help Sexual Health?

Hi there.. I got diagnosed with hpv 5 months ago and have been very upset about it and having been trying to get rid of it.. I used medical and home treatments and nothing..I went to a sexual health clinic and they told me I had vulva papillae and not hpv..I am very confused.. They itch every so often and sometimes hurts to urine about sex and also hurts sometimes when having sex.. What do u think I have.? Very confused

Thank you for your health query.
There is a very simple procedure to follow here.
Please visit an STD clinic and get yourself tested for HPV.
If you have the report in front of you in black and white, whether you are positive for HPV or not, then there is no room for confusion.
The question can be resolved definitely only by a conclusive test either ways.
HPV is notorious for causing vulval warts.
Vulval papillae might coexist, or right now, you might not be having the warts, as they do not manifest all the time.
Meanwhile, it makes sense to have the warts/ papillae removed, as you are having trouble during intercourse and while urinating.
ALso, use proper precautions during sex, until you know that you are clear or not.
