Diagnosed With PCOS. On Bc Pills. Having Sex Regularly. Now Have Light Pink Blood. Reasons?

I was diagnosed with PCOS about 5 years ago. I was on bc pills to regulate my periods. I stopped taking the pills for about 6 months about2 yyears ago and had no period the entire time. One year ago in July I left my job and had no insurance so once again stopped taking the pill. I didn't have a period from July through January. I started having sex regularly in February and my period started on it's own, but I started getting them about every 2 weeks. They are usually a very light pink blood and rarely the bright red blood i would have before. Any idea why I would be having them so close together and they are so lite?

Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
P C O S( Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome) have following characteristic features as,
Irregular bleeding,
Dysfunctional uterine bleeding.
amenorrhoea ,
obesity,
Acne & hirsutism
glucose intolerance , LH/FSH ration alteration,
elevation of androgen ( testosterone),
decrease in estradiol,
atretric follicle stroma, in ultrasound reports.
As you mentioned in your query that there is abnormalities in bleeding ,so this is due to PCOS.
Consult a gynaecologist and get in all blood as well hormonal test .
Take treatment according to disease.
