I have been diagnosed with pcos and we have been trying for a baby, but I haven t been able to ovulate, also I havent had my period for a while now, so I have been prescribed by a gynecologist to take 2 tables a day of primolut for 7 days and stop, so I did and no period at all, so I went to my doctors and they said take them again for 10 days then stop, but no period again, its been 4 days since I last stopped it. What can I do. I need to have a period to take chlomid to make me ovulate to have a baby, but I cant do anything without getting my period. Help !

Hi,

You may have to get your hormonal assay. Accordingly, you may need additional hormones especially, oral contraceptive pills to regularize your cycles.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. B. Radhakrishnan. Nair, OBGYN
