Diagnosed With Psoriatic Arthritis, Affected Spine, Sternum And Spondylitis, Low Immunity, Headaches, Bad Chills. What Is Wrong?

Hello, I was recently diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis that affects my spine (spondylitis) and sternum. I have been on Enbrel injections for about 2 months now, but already had a very low immune system beforehand. I suddenly have become very lethargic and fatigued, have constant headaches ranging from moderate to severe, easy bruising, really bad chills, and have cold and flu like symptoms. What could be wrong with me? -Morgan

Hi Morgan,
Your disease psoriatic arthritis is a type of seronegative spondyloarthropathy, means the arthritic factors are usually negative in these conditions. As you are taking enbrel injection for last 2 months,(it is etanercept, a type of TNF-inhibitor) this might be the probable cause for your headache and flu like symptoms.. Also it effects the immune system, and already you had a low immune system it might further lower down your resistance to fight against diseases .. so kindly consult your treating doctor immediately and tell about your complaints.
