Hi,
its important that you meet a rhumatologist for a proper work up and diagnoses. I proper diagnosis shall lead to prescription of more specific drugs. Pain especially articular pain in obese patients usually greatly improves with weight loss. Asking your physician to prescribe to an appropriate diet that could help you lose some weight and adequate and appropriate physical exercise could be very helpful in reducing the pains you experience.
Fluid leaking from the knee or joint usually needs to be investigated to know the characteristics and the cause. There are moments arthritis could be infectious and reveals itself later especially if slow growing germs are involved. I would advise you to meet your rhumatologist for a proper work up, comply with the exercise and diet plan.
Thanks as I wish you a fast recovery,
Luchuo, MD.
