Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
Endometriosis may interfere conception, and degree of interference depends on severity of disease. It is better to treat endometriosis with medication or surgery to enhance fertility. However techniques like IUI and IVF can be used. As IUI has been failed so next option is IVF.This process can be very helpful as the complete procedure of fertilisation takes place outside the body thereby reducing the chances of endometrial tissue affecting fertilisation.
Hope it helps.

Hi, welcome to Healthcare Magic.
Endometriosis is associated with anovulation (failure to ovulate), abnormal follicular development, luteal insufficiency (less progesterone). Since ovulation does not occur, there is difficulty to conceive. Also the tubal motility and function are affected. Sometimes there is also tubal blockage.
Around 30 to 40 % of women with endometriosis do not conceive.
IVF (in vitro fertilization) is successful in many women with endometriosis. In endometriosis, the egg (ovum) released after ovulation is usually unfit to fetilize. In IVF the ovum is removed before ovulation and fertilization is done outside the body. The embryo is then transferred again to the uterus. This improves the chances of conception.
Since your wife has not conceived even after 4 times of IUI (intra uterine insemination), IVF is the next option for her and there is a good chance that it will work out.
Good luck. I hope this is useful.
