Diagnosed With Hemorrhoids & Feeling A Pressure At The Lower Belly
The last two months, around the time I m expecting my monthly, I ve had liquid blood coming out when I have a bowel movement. After I go, I still feel pressure in lower belly, like I need another movement. I do have hemorrhoids, but this is different.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history of liquid blood coming out on bowel movements for the last 2 months occurring around the time of expecting monthly. Feel pressure like need to pass movement again even after gong for it. Wants to know whether have hemorrhoids. As per the history you have provided, this may be due to hemorrhoids or colitis as it is occurring neat periods or a polyp. This can be diagnosed by: Colonoscopy and preliminary ano-proctoscopy. Any further tests as per the clinical evaluation by a General Surgeon. The treatment will be as per the cause. If the hemorrhoids are grade 3 or have polyp go for surgery and for anything else medical management should suffice.
