good day i was diagnosed with mild tuberculosis 18 years ago and now I'm 38 yrs old and had my annual xray and the results bothered me a lot i was diagnose with minimal apical thickening pleural bilateral what is that mean?...i was thingking that my previous desease might becomes active because of the nature of my work and also diagnose with scolliosis thoacic and lumbar part and also GERD is it possible that 2 stated condition can affect my lungs specially the curved in the thoracic, i was expiriencing shortness of breath though. thanks and more power.GOd bless
There is no terminology like "mild TB". Apical pleural thickening is a residual problem and dont worry about that. Check your sputum for AFB. Scoliosis can give rise to breathlessness, depending upon its severity. GERD may give you night time coughing.
