Diarrhea. Had Protected Sex. Pregnancy Test Negative. Taken Postinor. Why Did I Not Have My Period?

Hello Doc. I am in Ghana and am 20. I had protected sex but was uncertain if some sperms entered me so I took Postinor 2 that same day.however, after three weeks I haven't had my period. I tested for pregnancy twice n it was NEGATIVE, I however had a little diarrhoea and dont know if it is as a result of the drug. Please am I pregnant or the drug is preventing my period from coming?? I really need help because I cant afford to go to a doctor. Thank you

generally diarrhoea is not a result of the drug.
Any kind of emergency contraception will result in alteration of your normal menstrual cycle.
Most women experience some kind of a withdrawal bleed within a few days of taking emergency contraceptives.
the emergency contraceptive pill can prepone or delay your normal period by a week or more.
The delay in your cycles could be because of the emergency contraceptive pill, hence please repeat the pregnancy test after a week.
