Diarrhea, Loss Of Appetite, Losing Weight, Acidity. Should I Meet A Doctor? Which All Tests Should Be Done?
i am having problems with my stomach. It started last Friday. I felt terrible and wasn't hungy. Then I had diarrehea. I have continued for over a week and I have had diarrehea until Thursday. I still have had no appetite, I am also breaking out in a light sweat after I eat something. I lost 6 1/2 pounds last week. I stil am having the same problems. I thought this was a stomach virus but I am not sure. Symptoms include no appetite, stomach pain, fatigue, stomach gas, and just plain feeling terrible. Do I need to see a Dr. and if so, what tests should I make sure are ordered?
Diarrhea may be due an episode of gastroenteritis caused by viral or bacterial infection. You may request your doctor for stool examination for ova and cyst, Stool culture and sensitivity. ultrasound of the abdomen for evaluation of pain.
