Diarrhea With Bright Yellow Orange Stools, Little Blood Colored Mucus. History Of Laparoscopic Appendectomy And Constipation Due To Oxycodone. Advice

I had a laparoscopic appendectomy a week ago and was constipated for a day because of the Oxycodone they gave me. Now, I have bright yellow-orange stool (diarrhea) and there seems to be a tiny bit of a red substance that looks like it could be mucus but is blood-colored. I've been talking with my doctor about the constipation, but this is new. I'll be contacting him again tomorrow but want to try to find an answer to put my mind at ease before that.

hi, painful stools with blood and mucus could be due to amoebiasis/bacillary dysentery. need to take some antibiotics. see your physician for this. all the very best.
