Difficulty And Strain During Passing Urine. Scan Shows Mildly Enlarged Prostate, Blood Creatine Level 1.55. Advice
My blood creatine level before 2 years was 1.1 mg and last year it was 1.3, three months back, it was 1.41 and last week it came up to 1.55. I, some times find difficulty and need to strain for passing urine. The flow is very low with thin stream. Ultra Sound Scanshows, 1. Both Kidneys are normal. 2. Prostate is mildly enlarged in size ie. (44 x 32 x 37 mms, volume 29 cc) Grade 1 prostatomegaly. Please advise.

Hi Prostatomegaly is common after 40 nowadays.it will increase by age then.Drugs like tamusulosin helps conservatively.Do a PSA test and rule out any malignancy. And for creatine blood.it can happen in diabetic nephropathy, pyelonephritis and all.But your ultrasound is clear for kidney. So you should consult a urologist and do a full renal profile.you might need to add a nephroprotector drug in treatment. hope this may help you thanks
