Difficulty In Controlling Urine. Diabetic, Taking Medication. Recommendations?

I am having urinary problem. It started with a little leakage and now I am not able to control my urine. I cannot feel it when it comes out if i'm sitting. I am Diabetic and my medicine has never stopped me from going 3-4 times at night. When I can feel I have to go I have 2 minutes to get to a bathroom. Please help.

Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

You seem to be having increase in frequency of urination.
As your age and gender is not mentioned, I presume you are an elderly gentle man and give the following suggestions.

Please get an ultrasound of your abdomen and pelvis (to look for abnormalities in kidneys, bladder and prostate) along with measurement of pre void and post void bladder urine volumes. Prostate volume must also be recorded.

This will give us an insight if there is problem at the bladder neck due to prostate enlargement, a common occurrence in elderly men and treatable.
