Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Dear Mr. Rajan,

Thanks for posting your query on this website. I can fully appreciate your concern for your problem.

1. Firstly, nothing except constant practice will enable your niece to reach high notes.

2. Further, inability to reach high notes may sometimes be seen in hypothyroidism. You may therefore, ask your niece to get her Thyroid hormonal assay done (Free T3, Free T4, TSH-ultrasensitive) and revert back to me with the report.

3. She may also consult an ENT Specialist for examination of her vocal cords and deeper part of throat to exclude any pathological condition.

I am confident that you will certainly benefit from the advice.

May I assure you that I am always available for your assistance and will try my best to cure your condition to the best of my experience and knowledge.

Please feel free to revert back to me in case of further clarifications, if any.

HAVE A NICE DAY AND A SPEEDY RECOVERY.

Fond Regards,

Dr.(Col) R Karanwal
