Dilation Of The Internal Carotid, Suffering From Severe Vertigo. High Risk Patient Of Stroke. Suggestion?
I just found out today that i have a dilation of the internal carotid where it meets another artery . I am a high risk patient for stroke . I have been dealing with severe vertigo or over a week. I am a 42 year old female. The dr wants me to see a neurologist but i can t get in for weeks. I am feeling very weird right now and nervous. Any advice?
hi ,
your details suggest that you have an aneurysm of internal carotid artery , it has complications like rupture and pressure effects and other. And you already having symptoms like vertigo , you consular a Neuro physician/ surgeon as early as possible and evaluate.
Mean while if you have hypertension , you should control it by taking regular medications.
