Discomfort Before Urination. Took Cipro. Worried About The Findings?
I was seen on May 23 for a discomfort before I urinate that had been going on for 2 1/2 weeks. There was no frequency, urgency or burning. I did have some pubic bone tenderness/achiness and lower back/hip discomfort. I was given Cipro 500, to take twice a day for 5 days. After finishing the Cipro, I still had the same symptoms, so I was given another round of Cipro. The original urine and dipstick were clear and looked good but the culture showed infection. I only have 4 Cipros (2nd round) left and I still have discomfort before I urinate. This usually is worse during the day and at night I don't notice any discomfort before the urine starts flowing. YYYY@YYYY I would appreciate any insight you can give me.

You are feeling discomfort from last 20 days and took a course of 20 tablets of ciprofloxacin 500 mg an optimum dose.
You feel this discomfort only in the day time.
Your culture shown infection so the cause of discomfort is there.
Infection is there , so get in drug sensitivity test after consultation with a physician and get in most suitable antibiotics.
Plenty of fluid produces full diuresis and urine flow with full force, sometimes wash out local impacted cause of infection.
Alkalizer will also provide relief in this type of cases.
