Discomfort In Lower Left Abdomen, Sharp Pain After Urinating, Bulge Inside Vagina. Could This Be Cyst ?
Hi I had a partial hysterectomy in 2012. Everything went great the dr left my ovaries so that it could by me about ten years before I started menopause. The last 2 days I have been having discomfort in my lower left abdomen area. Sometimes a sharp pain especially after I urinate. Also when I wipe I almost want to say that I feel a bulge just right inside my vagina and when I press on it ...it seems like it moves back up inside farther... Strange I know but I've been getting up during the night to urinate and after I do I'm usually crouched over when I walk out of bathroom because of the crampy discomfort I feel... Ive had bouts with diarreaha and constipation at well...and nausea......Could this be a cyst on my ovaries.? ..any insight would be great! Thank you... Worried in Tennessee
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. The bulging during urination may be due to uterus prolapse as this may be the cause. 2nd reason may be rectum prolapse ( as mistaken for uterus ). Ovarian cyst may be but it is not feasible to palpate it through vagina. In my opinion physical examination is very important so consult a Gynaecologist/ surgeon and get their opinion and deal accordingly. Good luck. Dr. HET
