72 yr old male ; 10 years out from quad bypass surgery. I take 40 mg crestor daily and have a lot of discomfort in my shoulders and hip joints; I find it impossible to ride in an auto for over 30 mnutes without pain in my lower back. my doctor has taken me off the drug for two weeks to see if the situation improves. Almost at the end of second week and feel about the same. I have no other health problems except what I've described. How long can the effects of a drug stay in the system:
