Dizziness And Nausea. MRI Scan Showed A Meningioma On The Cerebellum. Diagnosed For Epley And Labrynthitis. Is This Tumor?

I HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING DIZZINESS AND NAUSEA FOR A YEAR NOW. I HAVE HAD 3 DIAGNOSES, ALL TO DO WITH THE INNER EAR.I HAVE HAD THE EPLEY MANOUVRE AND EXCERCISES FOR LABRYNTHITIS, BUT IT HAS NOT HELPED..I HAD AN MRI SCAN OF MY HEAD, MIGRAINE WAS SUSPECTED, BUT INSTEAD IT SHOWED A MENINGIOMA ON THE CEREBELLUM PONINE ANGLE AREA. IT IS 13 MM, AND I WAS TOLD BECAUSE IT IS SMALL, THAT IT WOULD NOT BE CAUSING MY DIZZY SYMPTOMS. I THINK IT PROBABLY IS THE TUMOR, AS THEY CAN'T SEEM TO FIND A CLEAR DIAGNOSIS. WHAT DO YOU THINK.

Dizziness and vertigo can be caused by central or peripheral issues. Peripheral means that it does not involve the brain or spinal cord.

The most common peripheral causes are related to the inner ear.

If you have received treatment for the most common inner ear conditions ( meniere's disease, BPPV and vestibular neuronitis) with no improvement of symptoms then it is definitely possible that your symptoms may be related to the tumor found on imaging.
