Dizziness And High BP After Taking Prescribed Amlopipine. On Medication For Lisinopril, Alendronate, Aspirin. Normal Side Effects?

Hi, my mother is on medicine for high blood pressure. She takes lisinopril hctz 20-12.5 (1 a day). She takes alendronate 70 mg 1 a day. She takes 1000 mg of fish oil, calcium 630 mg, garlic 1000 mg, aspirin 81 mg, and a multivitamin. The doctor recently put her own amlopipine and she started feeling dizzy and her blood pressure went p. are these normally side effects of this medicine or is it reacting with some of the other medicine?

Hi
If there are many anti hypertensives it is normal to have dizziness while suddenly getting from the bed. I will advise you to sit down for give minutes after you get up from sleep and then go ahead with your routine activities.
I will advise you to consult physician and take his opinion.
