I have been to several doctors for dizziness, have been in Omniax chair 2 times, one helped the other time didn t. My vertigo is different than others, as I am not dizzy while sitting or laying, but the minute I stand I start swaying, I have to use a cane or walker, or will fall.
Regarding your concern, I would recommend performing a brain MRI, to exclude other possible causes of vertigo. It seems to be a peripheral vertigo, related to an inner ear disorder, although the Omniax chair was not very effective in the second time.
Anyway, I would recommend starting Dimenhydrinate to help you will your symptoms.
Hope you will find this answer helpful! Best wishes, Dr. Aida
