Dizziness, Weakness, Headaches. Typhoid Confirmed Through Widal. Numbness On One Side. Is This Effect Of Typhoid ?

sir, I am 29 yrs old, and was feeling like a bit of dizziness a week ago,weakness and headache.during widal test it was confirmed as typhoid . but I was getting the feel like numbness in one side of body,sensation in tongue which i felt at the age of 14 when I suffered epilypsy.But it was cured by taking EPTION for 5 years.May I know is it the effect of typhoid or can be other thing

Hi,

Numbness of the body does not occur in Typhoid. Alterations in taste sensation do happen.

I do not think it is due to epilepsy.

If the symptom continues to worsen, please consult your Neurologist again.
