Do I Have Arthritis If I Have A Sore Shoulder And Stiff Neck?

I have a sore shoulder and a stiff neck. No diagnosis. It may be causes by where I sit to watch TV. I sit sort of in front of my register (I have forced air hearing and receive a draft). The soreness seems to go away after I move some and it is stiff in the morning when I first get out of bed. My question is, will this go away or do I have some form of arthritis? The soreness has been about a month.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The sore shoulder and stiff neck that you have can be due to a muscle spasm due to abnormal neck position. It can be related to frozen shoulder or cervical spondylosis also.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement Dr. Saurabh Gupta's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for your query.
Radiating pain in upper extremity most likely could be due to cervical degenerative disc disease with radiculopathy. It can be caused by lifting weights, episodes of over-exertion during work, long hours on computer, inappropriate posture while sleeping or sitting, lack of proper nutrition-exercises-rest-recreation or any other relevant past medical history.
For that you need to consult orthopedic surgeon and get x ray or MRI done if required.
I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care
