Went to U of M for possible Ankylosing spondylitis (I have the gene) I am a 51 year old female with pain in knees, hips, middle back, shoulders, ankles. I was very active in running up to half marathons up till two years ago. Knee pain stoped me. I just got the report emailed to me and this is what it says : Details

EXAM: Sacroiliac joints 4 views dated Dec 27, 2013 11:12:00 AM.
HISTORY: Rule out ankylosing spondylitis.
COMPARISON: None available.
IMPRESSION:
1. Sacroiliac joints. There is mild narrowing and osteophyte formation
with subchondral sclerosis at the left sacroiliac joint. The right
sacroiliac joint appears grossly normal. No erosions identified.
There is mild osteoarthritis of bilateral hip joints.
Incidental finding of enthesopathy at the left greater trochanter.

So by reading this..... I THINK I have osteoarthritis correct? And then does it also say I have an autoimmune disease? Is it ruling out Ankylosing spondylitis? Or is that still a possibility? What type of autoimmune disease fits this mess? Thank you,
