Do I Need To Take Tetanus Or Rabies Injection For Dog Scratch?

Hi I am Mr. Ghatak (70 yrs) from India, I got a scratch from a stray dog below my knee the scratch is passed out from my pant cloth (not directly touched by the stray dog). No bleeding is there, I have applied antiseptic lotion (Dettol) & Soframycin cream (after washing the scratch). Please advice do I need to take any kind of tetanus injection or rabbies injections?

Mr Ghatak.
If it's just a scratch , it is Grade 1 bite.
If dog is showing any high risk behaviour , you should consider vaccination immediately.
In other case too , it is always advisable to get vaccinated.
Go to a near by government hospital , get a free Tetanus shot and a free rabies vaccination.
If possible keep a watch on the dog.
