Do Oestrogen Cream And Amitriptyline Help In Treating Vaginal Pain And Discomfort?

hello, I have had a recent diagnosis of vulval papillomatosis. I am experiencing pain and discomfort around the entrance to the vagina and on the inside of the labia minora. I have little skin projections that sometimes feel raw, other times not. I am a little swollen and red. Is this to be expected with VP ? Seems to be worse around the time of my periods, which are heavy and protracted (I also have a couple of fibroids). I would like your advice on treatment options. Would an oestrogen cream help topically and amitriptyline for pain ? I am currently trying emuaid cream (homeopathic) and take paracetamol/brufen for pain but I have also been prescribed naproxen and zapain if required. Thanks for any help suggested. I just want to try and get life back, very debilitating to live with at the moment.
