Do Prednisone And Lamotrigine Cause Nausea And Vertigo?

Infusion ,1/28 of retuxin. Meds currently include Two BP meds, meds, two immimmunosuppressants, and 5 mg of Prednisone following kidney transplant 4/14. Recently prescribed lamotragine, gradual increase of dose to 200 mg. Nausea for about 10 days, today vertigo, mild and light pressure at the back of the head. Stroke, right frontal lobe, 2008. Wondering if current symptoms are likely medication related.

Hello,

Nausea is a common is side effect of Prednisone medication. The symptoms usually go away on its own.

If the symptoms continue you should consult your doctor about an alternative medication. Meanwhile you can use Reglan daily for nausea relief.
