Do Pristiq And Wellbutrin Cause Inability To Focus?
out daughter takes pristiq, Wellbutrin and Trokendi. The fist two for fairly severe depression. That last is for psuedotumor (high spinal fluid pressure resulting in headaches). she has had several minor driving accidents in the last 6 months and I am trying to understand whether any of the medications could cause lack of focus or something like this that could cause her driving issues.

Wellbutrin drug may rarely cause seizures as its one of the side effects, and combine it with other medications that can also cause seizures such as Pristiq may increase that risk.
Your daughter may be more susceptible since she has suffered from pseudotumor cerebri.
In addition, if Trokendi is taken along with Pristiq, it may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, difficulty concentrating, impaired thinking or judgment, and motor incoordination which may result in falls and related injuries.
Her treating doctor may be able to prescribe effective alternatives that do not interact, or she may need a dose adjustment or more frequent monitoring by her doctor to safely use these medications. She should also avoid activities requiring mental alertness such as driving or swimming.
