General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Like any other medicine, Finasteride and Androanaen have its side effects. But I want to tell you that even after long term use, side effects are not very harmful.

With finasteride, decreased sexual ability or desire may occur and with androgen you may experience dry mouth, headache.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Prabhash Verma, General & Family Physician
