Do X-rays Show Talus Fracture?

I went to the ER on Saturday and had X-rays that the radiologist said was a Talus fracture. The Orthopedist said he wasn't seeing it and sent me to have an MRI today and I was just wondering what the chances of the radiologist being wrong are as that is his job to

I would go with the orthopaedic surgeon advice not because he is my colleague but he has physically examined you along with x ray.
