Do Anti-inflammatories Cause Neck Pain And Headache?

66 year old active female started having neck pain and headaches and also C7 radiculopathy. Have taken different medications including Celebrex200 mg for 16 days , Voltaren 75 mg bid for 7 days, course of prednisone and OTC tylenol, advil in last 3 months and cervical epidural. Blood test showed ALT 78 and AST 42. Did antiinflammatories cause this? When should the blood test be repeated? should I avoid all medications? Can I take a flu shot? Lastd year these values were normal. I take supplements Multi vitamin, Vit D, Vit B complex, Calcium and Magnesium and occasionally Melatonin 3 mg. Please advise. Thanks

Celebrex (Celecoxib) can cause abnormal hepatic function; elevated AST and ALT. Look for monitoring hepatic function in the product information. Usually it takes time for elevated AST and ALT to return to normal level, on withdrawal of causative drugs. 04 weeks interval will be optimal, unless you have also steatohepatitis.
