Do Anxiety Medication Cause Greenish Diarrhea?

I am a 57 yr old woman and at the moment have anxeity & depression. Its crippling me to be hones. I have been on citralopram for about 3 weeks having had zoloft for 3 weeks before that. One of the side effects has been loose stools and it has got a bit better but today it was a bit greenish and I am worried again. I have recently had a geberal blood test which all came back normal.

Hi,

Greenish stools are common while taking Zoloft. You don't need to worry.
- Take medication with food
- Eat smaller more frequent meals
- Get some physical activity
- Drink plenty of fluids and juices.
