Do Headache, Neck Pain And Persistent Fever Need Medical Attention?
I am a 69 year old female. Haven t fell well for a few days. Experience headache and neck pain. Last night felt feverish temp was 101.8 was down this morning and I was able to work. Tonight temp is 102.9. At what point do I need to seek medical attention.
The most common reason for infection is a viral infection but there are a large number of different viruses that can cause problems.
Paracetamol/tylenol can help reduce the temperature and may also help with the headache and neck pain. Fluids and rest would also be very important as well.
If you feel very unwell or there is no improvement with the paracetamol , then you should be seen
I hope this helps
